ENG: Each piece in my Arèna Collection was crafted with dedication and care. This 'Golgo' vase exemplifies this commitment, featuring freehand textures that evoke the pristine, rugged beaches of Sardinia. This connection to the earth inspires me to ensure every creation tells a story and captures the natural essence of my island. The vase’s elegant light blue engobe on the concave top and interior was sealed with a transparent glaze, creating a lustrous finish that beautifully reflects light. The rugged texture of the exterior contrasts with the smooth, glazed interior, making the object both unique and balanced. Like all creations in this collection, this vase underwent two firings: first at 980°C, followed by a second firing with glaze at 950°C. To me, 'Golgo' is more than just a vase; it's a fragment of memory and a testament to handcrafted art. I hope it’ll bring joy and connection to your life as it does for me. The name 'Golgo' refers to a broad geographical area in Sardinia, meaning 'gorge' or 'whirlpool'. It's associated with the Su Sterru chasm, a breathtaking natural formation in the centre-east of the island. Il vaso 'Golgo' ne è l’esempio perfetto, con le sue superfici lavorate a mano libera che richiamano le spiagge incontaminate e selvagge della Sardegna. Questo legame con la terra mi ispira a far sì che ogni creazione racconti una storia e catturi l’essenza della mia isola. L’elegante ingobbio azzurro, presente sia sulla parte superiore concava del vaso che al suo interno, è stato sigillato con uno smalto trasparente, creando così una finitura brillante che riflette splendidamente la luce. Il contrasto tra l’esterno ruvido e l’interno liscio e smaltato conferisce al vaso unicità ed equilibrio. Come tutti i pezzi di questa collezione, anche 'Golgo' ha subito due cotture: la prima a 980°C, seguita da una seconda a 950°C per la smaltatura.
