ENG: Introducing my oil lamps from the Aústu Collection ('Aústu' means 'August' in Sardinian), inspired by the lively colours and forms of prickly pears in August. Crafted from red clay fired at 980°C, each 'spine' was meticulously applied on the lamps using a black engobe 'enhanced' with transparent glaze. Each oil lamp features a two-tone glaze: a transparent green at the base and a rich burgundy at the top, with a subtle gradient effect. A second firing at 950°C completed the process. With their soft, diffused glow, these oil lamps embody the essence of Sardinian summers, bringing a touch of nature into your home. For safe and optimal use of your lamp, please follow these simple steps: 1. Only use liquid wax. Never use alcohol or any other fuel. 2. Fill the lamp with the provided liquid wax. 3. Insert the wick into the wax. 4. Wait about two minutes to allow the wax to be absorbed by the wick. 5. Light the lamp with a flame.
